Aan de vooravond van de oorlog tegen Irak sprak hiphop-po\u00ebet Saul Williams<\/a> het volgende uit:<\/span><\/p>\n

We pledge resistance <\/p>\n

We pledge alliance with those
who have come under attack
for voicing opposition to the war
or for their religion or ethnicity <\/p>\n

We pledge to make common cause
with the people of the world
to bring about justice,
freedom and peace <\/p>\n

Another world is possible <\/span>
and we pledge to make it real.<\/span><\/p>\n

De <\/span>DJ-Spooky-versie<\/a> zal gebruikt worden in het vervolg dat ik de komende weken op de video over het Irak-debat<\/a> ga maken. <\/span><\/p>\n

Het derde deel zal ik gebruiken voor een eigen nummer met een persoonlijke, Nederlandstalige, ge-update versie van de pledge of resistance. De drie video’s zullen uiteindelijk als \u00e9\u00e9n geheel beschikbaar komen op Domo Libera TV.<\/a><\/p>\n

Het bewuste eigen nummer zal overigens deze zomer, met twee andere tracks, als mini-cd beschikbaar komen. En nee, het zijn niet allemaal protestsongs. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
