Uiteraard weet iedereen dat de Iraanse autoriteiten niet hoog scoren op het gebied van mensenrechten<\/a> en democratie<\/a>. But then again: <\/a>Look who’s talking…<\/a><\/p>\n

En wat doe je dan om Iran toch salonf\u00e4hig te maken als volgend oorlogsdoel?<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Je legt bijvoorbeeld de Iraanse president Ahmadinejad woorden over Isra\u00ebl in de mond die hij nooit gezegd heeft.<\/a><\/p>\n

Je brengt een kletsverhaal in de wereld over badges, die joden en christenen in het islamitische land zouden moeten dragen. Hoax<\/a> dus.
<\/a><\/p>\n

Je emmert jarenlang over niet bestaande Iraanse plannen om kernwapens te ontwikkelen. Tot zelfs binnen het Internationaal Atoom Agentschap (IAEA) grote irritatie ontstaat over je bedrog:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe International Atomic Energy Agency – the U.N. nuclear watchdog – is clearly rankled by the U.S. assertions just days ahead of a trip by IAEA inspectors to Natanz, the site of Iran\u2019s known enrichment efforts.<\/p>\n

IAEA officials normally refuse to be identified as such when discussing sensitive topics such as disputes with leading IAEA board members, such as the United States.<\/p>\n

But reflecting exasperation, a senior agency official dropped such reservations Saturday as he called the U.S. claims that an agency briefing on the advances made by Iran on enrichment was a bombshell \u201cpure speculation and misinformation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt comes from people who are seeking a crisis, not a solution\u201d to the confrontation over Iran, the official said.\u201d<\/p>\n

Je gaat je afvragen wiens belang<\/a> er werkelijk gediend is bij een nieuwe oorlog. Wie<\/a> er werkelijk aan de touwtjes trekt. Of wat de werkelijke winst<\/a> zou zijn voor de aanvallers…<\/p>\n

Opvallend is trouwens dat Rusland, dat nogal kritisch<\/a> staat tegenover de Amerikaanse houding naar Iran, sinds enkele dagen opeens te maken heeft met een nationaal terreuralarm.<\/a><\/p>\n

Ik hoop van harte dat dat terreuralarm vals zal blijken te zijn, maar ik kijk er niet van op als een eventuele aanslag “opge\u00ebist” zal worden door een aan Iran gelieerde terreurgroep, die tevens banden zou hebben met “Al Qaeda.”<\/a><\/p>\n

De ultieme manier om landen tot een nieuwe “coalition of the willing<\/a>” te laten toetreden toch?<\/p>\n

Misschien heeft Iran geluk, nu Ahmadinejad in binnenlands politiek zwaar weer<\/a> zit. Maar zoals de Asia Times schrijf<\/a>t<\/a>:<\/p>\n

“All the more ironic considering the biblical tsunami of Washington spin portraying Ahmadinejad as the newest “new Hitler” (Saddam Hussein, after all, fell victim to a lynch mob). “<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>Om de oorlogsagenda <\/a>(ook wel <\/span>“war on terror”<\/a> genoemd<\/span>) uit te voeren zullen de neo-cons dus wellicht op zoek moeten naar een nieuwe “Hitler.”<\/a><\/p>\n

Wie van alle oorlogshitserij af wil komen en voor vrede kiest, doet er goed aan in aktie <\/a>te komen…\u00f3\u00f3k in Nederland! <\/span>(wordt vervolgd)<\/span><\/p>\n
