The FBI spent between 12 and 18 months trying “to reverse engineer” (make a replica of) the anthrax in the letters sent to Messrs. Daschle and Leahy without success, according to FBI news releases. Een andere bizarre wending: de FBI zou Ivins’ familie gestalkt en onder druk gezet hebben, en zelfs geld hebben geboden om zich tegen Ivins te keren.<\/span> Zo meldt tenminste MSNBC<\/a>:<\/span><\/p>\n

WASHINGTON – Before killing himself last week, Army scientist Bruce Ivins told friends that government agents had stalked him and his family for months, offered his son $2.5 million to rat him out and tried to turn his hospitalized daughter against him with photographs of dead anthrax victims.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Zack had zelf kennelijk een nogal racistisch motief, en is dus in ieder geval een mogelijke “useful idiot.” Moesten Arabieren\/<\/span>moslims<\/a> zwart gemaakt worden? En met welk <\/span>motief<\/a>? En <\/span>waarom<\/a> al die moeite om Ivins zwart te maken? <\/span><\/p>\n
